David Carville: Owner/Rider/Chief Instructor – the Irish One
Dave has been a successful riding coach for over 24 years. This wealth of experience and knowledge is invaluable when clients are looking to improve established elements of their riding or, starting from the very beginning. David meticulously plans his lessons with a huge amount of pride and enthusiasm. He is passionate about his role in working with you to improve you riding skills no matter what your current level of riding is. David will challenge you to try new things and is a natural confidence booster. Your riding will improve and you will no doubt end each lesson with a smile.
Sarah Chettle: Owner/Stable Manager/Instructor/the (rubbish) receptionist
Sarah has a wealth of knowledge in horse care and management and teaching. Sarah’s priority is the health, happiness and safety of the horses and riders on her yard.
Sarah is very much a people person and goes out of her way to get to know and understand her clients’ needs. She knows how important communication is to keep owners informed and at ease – horses are her world just as much as they are yours.
If you ever need some advice she is the person to find as she is the yards equine ‘go to’ person. No one will know the horses and ponies in her care better than Sarah.
Southerly Roberts : Freelance Instructor, Competition Rider…and Stunt Jockey
Well what we can we say about Suth,…you will love her. We are honored to have Southerly as part of our team. With a wealth of knowledge and experience with teaching, competing, backing youngsters and riding horses that are not for the faint hearted.
Her lessons are great fun, loud, enthusiastic and informative. You will work hard and sweat hard. She loves her horses and treats all her rides as her own!
Lucy Amy : Freelance Rider – when shes not being a Dressage Diva
Lovely Lucy, another honorable freelancer! Lucy pops in to keep our fabulous horses on the straight and narrow, giving them a touch of that spotlight (..without the spotlight) A fabulous rider and and a even more fabulous person!
Jane Weaver : Yard Groom – the mature one
Jayne is known as our ‘Chef’. On site she makes each and every horse feed tailored to individual need, every single week day, come rain or shine. Her dedication allows the rest of the team to focus on other areas of caring for the welfare of the animals in addition to the riding lessons and hacks. She deserves a Michelin Star according to the ponies.
Rebecca Coxall: Yard Groom – Mother or Feeds
Bex is pretty fabulous, here dawn till dusk and dog walking in between. Super reliable and always has a smile on her face! Super caring and has a wonderful caring and calming nature. A big asset to our team.
Georgia Swadling – Instructor and Groom (..when she is not at University)
Georgia is one of our part time grooms and runs our Tiny-Tots class on Sundays for 4-7 year olds. Georgia is very popular with both the children and parents, with her warm and gentle lesson structure, nurturing the children’s development of skills fully, enabling them to flourish whilst enjoying the contact with the animals. BHS Stage 1 riding and road safety and equine first aid.
Colin Chettle – Office Staff
Colin is responsible for the efficient administration of the company, in particular regard to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Colin is Sarah’s long-suffering father who is now in charge of the finances and helping to build secure foundations for building the business and its future. One day he will finally retire again…
