We have an amazing bunch of grooms that help the yard run smoothly. Welcoming, friendly, reliable and trustworthy – Absolute gold dust to our yard. Our grooms are our daily keepers of the welfare of all our horses ensuring they are fed, groomed and turned out correctly.

We’ve got a few legends here at Larkspur — some are animals, and some are humans.
This is our little space dedicated to the newly promoted Legend that is Riely.
We’re celebrating the human legend that is Rieley.
Rieley joined us a couple of years ago after taking a break from horses, but it didn’t take long for us to realise we had found a proper “Larkspur person” — someone whose kindness and dedication to the horses make them an essential part of the team. Because of her hard work, we’re super proud to announce that Rieley has been promoted to Head Groom — a role we know she’ll be perfect for.
Here are 3 facts about Rieley you might not know… but beware — only 2 are true!
1. She owns a horse named Lavia who you’ll often spot around the yard.
2. She’s a brilliant rider but hasn’t yet passed her driving test (she’s got the car though, so fingers crossed it won’t be long!).
3. At 14, she decided she wanted to join the circus, learnt to juggle, and soon became one of the youngest fire jugglers in the UK.
We’ll let you decide which two are real…Rieley — we know you’re going to smash your new role out of the park, and we’re so proud of everything you’ve achieved. Thank you for everything you do.

Jayne has been riding since her childhood and has always been an animal lover. Working with us since we opened in 2016 Jayne is famous for her reliability and always having a smile on her face whatever the weather. As a mum of two she has a wonderful caring and calming nature and is a big asset to our team.
